Over twenty years ago, my voice teacher Joe Scott put me in the voice teaching business. He told me it was time for me to tell other people what I know about singing and that I would be great at it because I could really sing. Joe Scott taught Lainie Kazan, Karen Akers, Anita Morris, Richard Chamberlain, me and many more fabulous singers! Joe and I taught together in the mid 80’s at NYU thru the college’s Lab Program. Our classes were at the Actors and Director’s Lab on Theater Row West 42^nd Street. Jeff Harner and Jackie Hoffman, two talented performers, are alumni of those classes Joe and I taught. Joe passed away in 1986, since then I have continued to share the message of the joy of singing that he taught to me, through my years in private practice teaching, and in my own performances! My schedule allows me to accept a few new students at this time.

What can I do for you?

I can help you to create the sound of your voice. I am not a brilliant accompanist; look elsewhere for someone to play for you in performance. What I can do is help you make a free open resonant sound, and find your real voice. Learning to sing is hard work, singing itself is effortless!
